- Give Pain Meds prior to discharge (often takes many hours before they are able to get pain meds at facility)
- Write Prescription for meds you want given
- Write Return Precautions on Discharge Instructions (Aids at Facility do read this). Other than ER nurse phone call, it is the only info they have on what happened to patient
