Remote Access

 

I have attached the most recent instructions on how to use Remote Access / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) from home.

There are a few things a provider MUST have to access information off site:

  • A signed Remote Access agreement (provided by TAC or from our department)
  • A Citrix Receiver application loaded on their computer (TAC can assist with loading this on their personal PC)
  • A Symantec Security Code – VIP Access (TAC can assist with loading this on their personal PC)

Once the three items above have been completed, providers can use VDI to check their email, access Cerner and access Sharp Intranet information.

If providers ONLY want to access Sharp email on their phone and NOT access Cerner, either our Team or TAC can assist providers with getting access loaded on their phone.
